Hey @BarBend, I was curious, but out of all the meal delivery services you've had, which one would you say is the best taking into consideration: flavor (microwave v.s oven), portions, health, etc. I've realized how expensive most are in comparison to Costco, but after taking into consideration how much time, effort, seasoning costs, and clean-up go into meal prepping myself, these have become more and more attractive. You can only pick two: Cheap, Fast, or Good. And as I've become more financially responsible, Fast and Good are where I'm leaning.
I like factor off of one meal. I had the blackened salmon and loved it. I've tried HelloFresh and just didn't see the point when instacart delivers groceries as well. That's essentially what HelloFresh is. Factor is worth it because of taste, price and what it offers.
Thanks for both reviews. I trashed my knee and wanted somewhat healthy meals that I could just put in microwave while recovering from surgery. I tried Factor75 and BistroMD, and tried FreshDiet in the past. I'm sold on Factor using grass feed beef and no antibiotic meats. It's true their meals would be tastier cooked in an oven but they are surprisingly good even nuked. Fresh Diet was horrible and not very healthy. Bistro MD was on par with store bought frozen dinners. Factor75 want frozen and even though more expensive, the quality is worth it. My only minor complaint is that in ordering 18 meals, I ended up ordering duplicate because there wasn't enough variety. The menu does dramatically change each week, though. When I can hobble to the kitchen I'll probably switch to cooking in oven and also cut back on number of meals ordered each week.
I have eaten two of the meals I ordered from Factor 75. I’ll preface by saying I’m not such a picky eater but I’ve been very impressed with the taste of their meals so far. The best part is the ingredients list. It’s as if you’d make it at home
Having tried (and enjoyed) Hello Fresh, Blue Apron and most recently Freshly, I'm eager to give Fresh 75 a try as well. Each has its strengths and weaknesses. But don't we all? Thx, man.
UPDATE: Just deactivated Freshly after 2-week trial. Reason: Too much like glorified TV dinners, and too much repetition of menu. We could not see having to keep returning week after week to select the items to ship. The "set and forget" approach (i.e. "I am a vegetarian" or "Send seafood sometimes") at Blue Apron is really simpler for our lifestyle.
I'm actually quite happy with Factor75 its decent food and satisfies my hunger. To bad it doesn't come with 21 meals to get to cover a week. Tuesday through Monday then on Tuesday I get my new shipment 📦
I’m currently a subscriber to the Factor 75 service. So far the meals have been very flavorful. My only complaint is this. The protein side is adequate portion but the veggie portions are extremely inadequate. Maybe because it’s organic, it’s a price issue but I think they should be bigger even if they have to raise the price.
I agree. I did Factor 75 for about 5 weeks and tried every keto meal I could from them. I found this to be true. There were some meals that I couldn't finish due to the taste. I'm in search for a new meal prep delivery service atm...
Haha Seriously.. That's what you are concerned with? If you have ever done a LIVE or have a microphone on you, Then you would know it picks up sounds a lot more than normal.
Factor 75 is the only food service that actually has bell peppers as an allergy - which I have. I can’t even pick them off food- they make me sick- so this is really my only choice. I did metabolic meals a few years ago and it was delicious - I recommend them as well. Just ordered my first box (Black Friday discount) and I’m excited. I waste soooo much food because at the end of day - I don’t want to cook all the veggies and just end up tossing them and my money away. I think even tho it’s more expensive, it evens out in the end- with not only money, but time. I hate having to figure out what to eat every week - this makes life easier

I can't find anywhere on their website -- in what city are the meals packaged/where does it come from?
Illinois

I would have liked if you would show the plates before you eat it.
What are the sodium and sugar amounts? Are they listed on the package?
Yes they are

Have you tried HungryRoot? I’m starting to get into meal delivery. My next to try is Factor 75
Another con is that sodium content seems high
Thank you! Very helpful with my food delivery decision! You guys tried before I buy for me 😋
Considering the delivery fees from what is out are any companies less expensive?
@@pamwied6983 it seems like this link is not working. It looks like Google has an "eatsensible" in the search results

Thank you for talking fast
Haha, I know I know, I talk too fast at times. I'm working on it! - Jake
@@Barbend it’s a good thing lol
Tried them & didn't care for them except for their cold pressed juices. They were the only ones that were the best!!!!

Let me know if you find a better one!
11 for frozen food that had been thawed
Thanks for the review. And dont forget. THE GLADIATORS OF THE CORNELIUS REIGN SUPREME!!!
You're adorable.
So much cheaper to cook your own food. Way too expensive.
this is for people that don't have the time to learn how to cook
seriously... you microwaved it? If you are going to review why wouldn't you at least give it a chance....
Dude stop hitting your teeth
Haha, my man! It's just the biting of the fork and how I eat normally. The mic makes it sound waaayyy worse than it is. - Jake

@steelmesh Ok boomer.
Dude use oven taste way better
No doubt, but there's no oven in the office and we use the microwave to keep it consistent with most busy, office working individuals! - Jake
